The Fireside Restaurant & Lounge

This Resturant is very very dirty and the service is horrible. The manager/owner screams at her employees in front of customers. I have never seen staff treated so horribley in my life and so I can not support this bar. Also, the food was under cooked and tasted horrible, my husband didn't even get what he ordered and still had to pay for it. The old owners were wonderful and the food was great. But this bar went from awesome- to horrible.

LOved the new menu.....HATED the forks too hard to maneuver the pasta. Next time I'll bring my own fork LOL

The atmosphere and warmth of the Fireside Restaurant orders for food were delivered from 12-15 minutes of placing. The food! Magnificent! I enjoyed a chicken stirfry that was absolutely captivating. I couldn't put my fork down! The meat was very tender and the veggies just crisp enough to deliver their flavor. The noodles mixed in (choice of rice/noodles) were very succulent and had absorbed just enough of the sauce to melt in my mouth. I've returned on several occasions and ordered the same and it is everytime a culinary delight. The beer is always really cold and plenty of it. The restaurant stocks a rather unusually varied supply of excellent wines from around the planet and the staff take pride in recommending an appropriate choice (to a novice) or polite suggestions to the seasoned connoisseur alike. Large screen tv and many other strategically positioned high quality monitors permit patrons to either discreetly catch a glimpse or sit down in super comfy leather couches and immerse themselves in a favorite game. Just how lucky can a small community such as Sylvan Lake consider themselves? This restaurant is triple-A rating in every aspect.
